Mike’s fitness corner Here is another article from Mike and this week he is giving a great way to warm up before you tee off.
"Hi, I hope everyone is keeping ok during the lockdown!! I cant wait to get back out onto the golf course, I’m sure we all share that sentiment! I asked a few friends at the club if there was anything they wanted to see me do a video on. The first reply I had was “A simple warm up before you play, usually taking about 2 mins or as you walk to your first ball. How does that sound?” Now I’m fairly sure it was said in jest, but... challenge accepted. Here is a 3 minute, full body warm up that will get you as close to golf ready as possible, especially for those of you who like to just walk straight to the tee (I should add it's a great loosener to use on the range before you hit balls either practicing or for those of us that hit balls before a round). It requires zero equipment other than a golf club (which if you don't have to hand by the time you are on the tee, a warm up is the least of your worries). So there are no excuses not to give it a go! I know sometimes we can feel a bit daft stood on the tee doing stretches, whilst the rest of the 4-ball banter you about it. But lets face it, who’s laughing more after you have ripped your tee shot straight down the middle...
