Captain's Farewell Dinner

The date of Friday 5th April brings the curtain down for our Captain's John and Julie. What a year they have had including having one of the best summers we have seen in a long time, ( I just hope the weather this year is as good).

Custom fitting news

Gumbley rolls back the years

Lee Gumbley came to me in November and asked if I could help him get more from his game. He had lost distance and had no confidence in his clubs; he wanted to get back to the way he played as a youngster. So, after giving his clubs the once over and the fact they were 10-years-old and the shafts had rust on was not helping him. So, we set about seeing if new irons that were correctly fitted could help him. "UNBELIEVEABLE" were the words Lee used once we had got a club with the correct shaft, length and lie angle, he was hitting the ball 20 yards further than his current irons.

Lee has seen his handicap come down from 7.0 to 5.0 in the past two months... I can't wait to see what he does during the summer months.

PING fitting day
